About BlackGenre

BlackGenre is a Black entertainment and cultural intelligence platform that explores the stories, people, trends and industries shaping Black popular culture.

Covering music, film, television, gaming, sports and entertainment, we go beyond traditional headlines to examine the cultural influence, business dynamics, historical significance and economic impact behind the entertainment.

We are not removing entertainment from entertainment journalism. We are adding intelligence to the experience.

Part of the Black Ecosystem

BlackGenre is an independent brand within the Black Ecosystem network — interconnected platforms for discovery, knowledge, cultural assets, economic participation and intelligence.
